“Rather than a typical book, this is more like having a conversation with some of the leading individuals in the medical tourism field. The interactivity with links to current websites and the availability of email addresses and contact information for many of those quoted in this book should be of great help to an individual who wants to learn the essentials in planning a medical tourism trip. The option of traveling for medical care is such a new idea to most Americans that this book’s focus on medical facilitators, insurance issues, and accommodation considerations will prove a great starting point in what can seem to be an overwhelming process of planning the details of such a trip. Ilene Little is to be commended for providing such help and for her even-handed assessment of when medical travel is or isn’t advisable. The bottom line – this book should provide much peace of mind to the prospective medical traveler.” - Dan Cormany, Florida International University, Faculty Member at the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism

“This book is GREAT! I just wish that I had this type of information in 2004 when I was trying to make the right treatment decisions for my prostate cancer. I can assure you that some of my decisions would have been different. - Gary and Lea Walton
“This is a fabulous book, I wish I would have had it before I went the first time. You have covered all the bases. We are off to Costa Rica tomorrow for a 2nd hip replacement, so wish me luck. - Cheri Downie
